Way back in 1994 the group set up its first school – G D Goenka Public School Vasant Kunj, New Delhi with barely 23 students in its 1st year. Gradually there has been a remarkable rise in the students’ strength and the school currently has more than 3500 students. The school has been recognized by the Directorate of Education Delhi and affiliated to the C.B.S.E.

With 29 years of excellence in Education, GD Goenka continues to give an innovative direction towards providing Global Education to our children with firm anchoring in Indian Culture, values and tradition.

Despite challenges laid by Covid 19, we as GD Goenka family, not only smoothly sailed through the tough times but also extended its family further by adding 35+ new K-12 schools in the last 2 years.

About the school

G.D. Goenka Public School, Dharamshala opened the gates of its campus in February, 2016 to its first co-educational intake of students. We are an institute with international standards in education, co-scholastic activities, sports, infrastructure and facilities that embrace the demands of modern curriculum. We kindle the quest for knowledge and discover the true potential. Located at an ideal location between Dharamshala and Kangra near Dhauladhar ranges, the school has been constructedon more than four acre campus that is conducive to the students learning and development process. Keeping in mind our motto: “Higher, Stronger, Brighter” we give our little ones the very best each and everyday..an idyllic ambience, ideal location a stimulating and nurturing individuals with paramount values. This is accomplished by focusing not only towards academic excellence but also all round development of each student.
